I have a 2006 Calabria Pro V2. I have a lot of water leaking through the rudder. What do I do?
This is a new one for me.
Thank you for your help.

Not 100% sure but more than likely you have the kind in image 1. If so might be a simple a adding grease with gun to zerk on side. Image 2 shows the other style used and it has packing like on the prop shaft that can be tightened. Worst case scenario with the first kind you will have to remove the rudder and replace the two seals in there.

I actually have a 2008 Calabria where I had the exact same thing happen to me too.

I called Calabria customer service and they were super helpful. It was a few years ago ago but I'm about 95% sure they pointed me to OJ Props. They told me exactly what model I needed and I just ordered a new one from OJ. It was just the rudder packing (or whatever it's called)

If my memory serves my right it was like $85 bucks and around $15 for shipping.

I installed the new one, re-sealed it, added marine grease and I was back on the water after a couple hours.

Just use some soap based marine grease and re-pack the void between the seals.

I just replaced the rudder seals on my 2000 Moomba Mobius. My rudder looks quite similar to the first picture. It was simply two O-rings. I picked them up at the local auto parts store for just a couple of dollars.
