Sterio Issue

I am having a strange stereo issue. I am stuck on one FM station no matter what I do. I can try to change stations, but the same song plays. I switch to AM, but nothing happens. I can try to switch to auxiliary and still nothing. I put in a CD this past weekend and the deck said reading...reading...CD...track 1 and started counting like it begun the first track of the CD, but it was still the terrible FM station. Tried jumping to the next track of the CD, but the same damn FM station was playing. Even when I use the transom remote in the back I get the same results.

Any ideas???

This is a 2006 Supra Launch 21V with the stock Kenwood deck model KTS-MP400MR.

Buy a new deck or better yet get rid of it and run everything through a eq

Disconnect any remotes you have. A bad remote can freeze the head unit. Next, try the head unit reset button if it has one.

Would disconnecting the batteries to boat for 10mins also reset everything if head unit does not have a reset button
