i need help on my annual service

So i plan to service my Centurion Enzo myself. i've taken my boat to the dealership a few times and it always come back with scratch or dirty, or something else wrong..Fact is, I just dont trust boat mechanics in Phoenix now..

So my question is, does anyone have a list of the items that need to be done for the annual service.

Also what motor oil do you suggest me to use.. It doesn't really have to be "marine" right??

well when it got jacked up it was at Surfside (last year).

I recently got a estimate for service from a a marine place up on Cave Creek near my house and they wanted like $500 bucks... Times being what they are, I dont want to pay that.

STAY AWAY FROM SURFSIDE!!!! They f'd me last season. I took the Supra in for an annual, and left with them informing me they broke one of the impeller cover screws off and I should get it taken care of. HUH????

Do you have the manual for the Enzo? It will have the annual service recommendations listed. I did the annual service last month, including plugs, and save a boat load of money from what Surfside and Century where quoting.

Yearly is a pretty short list: Change the oil & oil filter. Check the trans & v-drive fluid, clean/change the air filter, winterize & summerize it properly.
I use Napa 10/30 oil & filter (which are made by Valvoline & Wix).

There is more to change every few years: cap & rotor, ignition wiring, v-drive & trans fluid, fuel filter, etc. All of which is available at any auto parts store.

It's not till you get into things like starters & alternators that they have to be marine specific.
