So I have an 07 Enzo and when I turn on the pump to fill the (onboard) ballast I get nothing! However when I toggle the switch the the (empty) side i can hear the pumps turn on..
Are there different pumps for pumping in and different one for the out??
Any thoughts on where I can start to trouble shoot?

Thanks for the help
patrick

Check the connections going into the switch on the back side.
If they're good, follow all your wiring to make sure nothing is loose.

they are different pumps for fill and empty, jabsco in the engine compartment for the fill, mayfare on the tank to drain. check the fuse under the dash, most likely the problem, if not check for power at the pump.

thanks for the info.. I figured it might be a fuse but haven't had the time to look yet.. Where is the fuse box located? or is it an in-line fuse??

Our Supra had the same problem and it was the fuse block under the dash. One of the fuses kept coming loose. I replaced the whole block and works fine.

fuses are under the dash it should be labeled "ballast", i think its a 20Amp, their are some 10amp fuses labeled ballast too but they are for the empty pumps. I've seen centurion install undersize fuses for the fill pump so it is not a 20A replace it with one.

Thanks for the info.. I found it last night Blown 20A fuse.. But they put it in the spot labled "hatch" so it should be all good now.

I have an Avy and ballast trouble too. Empty is fine but I kept blowing fuses when I try to fill. Well the answer is my Ballast Puppy is now sticking and when it does, the fuse blows. I need to take off the 3-screw brass plate and turn the impeller and I'm good to go for awhile (of course replacing the 20amp fuse labled HATCH....)

The Ballast puppy pump is next to your V-drive and the tube coming up from the bottom of the hull is the fill line to all 3 bags/tanks.

The ones labled ballast are your mayfair drain pumps. Never had a problem with those yet. I'm going to buy a Johnson pump with twice the flow if it happens again, so probably next week. I posted this problem on CentCrew if you have anymore questions.

They have a rebuild kit for the Ballast Puppy for around $30. I'm putting that money towards a faster pump. ---I've lubed it up and it still happens. Only 100hrs on my 06' boat
