ive gone through my owners manual and watched some videos but dont know if i need to unscrew these two plugs. they say water drain on them but i broke a wrench trying o unscrew the one and it doesnt look like its ever been removed. it looks me me like my manual says to unscrew them but the videos ive watched they dont but its a different boat. so do i need to remove them. its a plug on both sides of the v drive.Name:  v  drive arrow.jpg

There's no need to drain a walter vdrive for winterization. Gravity will drain the water from the vdrive to the to the water inlet. If you're worried pull off the outlet hose and blow it out (although I doubt any water will come out.)

When winterizing our old boat I'd unhook the vdrive outlet hose and would and would attach it to my bucket with antifreeze.

I never found much in the v drive but when i cant get the plug out.. I pull one hose off and pour some 50/50 some antifreeze down it./. you'll be good..
