Where do you buy the ballast hose that you see on all the new boats. I.E, Mastercraft, Sanger, Malibu, etc.

When i had to purchase some additional hose at a Home Depot/Lowe's last year, though it looked comparable, it appeared to give some, swell actually, to accommodate the pressure of the water. This slowed both the fill and empty rate of my sacs. I was able secure some OEM hoses. It is more rigid (didn't accommodate the increased pressure)than what I could find at my local hardware warehouse store. My $.02.

The ballast hose that I just got was called "live well" hose. It has a pvc inner sprial lining and rubber like coating. I got it from fineline industries (centurion) for .96 a foot.

Sorry should have added that in. You have to be careful at the Home Depot and Lowes and not get the cheap stuff that kinks.

Yup live well hose is the smae exact stuff as the oem ballast stuff.

I have ordered from flow-rite.com also and it is the same hose that is factory on MC and Supra (and probably most others).
