I need a board for my wife she is riding a CWB 135 Absolute. Nice board but I think if she had a board a little bigger she would be more comfortable. She 5' 7" and wieghs 135. Can someone help us? We live in Nor Cal.
Thanks

I don't know...it takes a lot more "oomph" to handle a bigger board. I was struggling with my one wake 180s on a 142. The day I bought a 136 I landed all four front side one wake 180s. I wouldn't go back to a longer board for anyone's money. I'm 5'6" and weigh a bit more than your wife.

I don't know a lot about the Absolute - perhaps she needs a similar size board but one that is more forgiving? Regardless, demo, demo, demo if she can. It ruins the element of a surprise gift but your wife should like what she decides on.

dont as me why im on the girls threads but boardom might have something to do with it, but my girlfriend is the same hight but allittle lighter and that what she rides. i dont think getting a bigger board is the answer. Whats 2 cm seriosly?? i personally feel that the more she rides the more comfortable she will eventually be.

Lizrd,... and Kickflip,.... Thanks for the advice. DEMO sounds like the way to go. She really likes the the 135, we took the center fin off. She's doing well with no fin. This is only her second season, didn't ride that much last season. We had a baby girl, so this year were getting out more. The baby loves the boat. Were turning baby girl into a Water Baby (Extreme Wake Girl)

You might post that question under Wakeboarding Discussion - someone there is bound to know.
