envy might be a better word than hate.
but while i might envy extraordinary riding water and access to everything wake i am grateful for that envy.
i don't have to feel so bad about my shallow bag of tricks and i can take a little more pride in my riding level knowing that i only get to ride about 20-30 times a year vs. 200-300 times a year.
now i know wakeboarding is not about being better than the next guy, and that is just the natural man speaking out, but i will reserve any dignity i can
. Wake is all about having fun and being one with the board and your surroundings (namely the water). For ME, there is no better place to feel that "one-ness" than Lake Powell, even if it means often choppy water, less time, and less comfortable temps during half the year.
