Here's their website... http://wakesolo.com/

This sort of defeats the purpose of wakeboarding for me. No friends, no wake, hitting obstacles would be interesting considering the steering is dictated by the pull of the handle.

What if you fall? How do other boats share water with you and vice/versa?Ultimately, WHY?!

Would never be legal on any public lakes here.

Looks sketchy as he!!. No way will that make it. First lawsuit will shut them down. I'm sure with practice you can control it safely, but the average wally isn't going to be able to. There have been ski alone devices since the late 80's and they never did very well. This isn't a new concept.

Yeah I've seen the small remote control jet ski... Figured there's a reason those aren't popular.

I feel pretty good behind the wheel of my boat, and on my board. But there is no way I could manage other traffic, other people in the water and focus on riding.

I can see the water lice now driving at my rider at a right angle so he can hit my wake. I'd rather buy a season pass every year to a cable park than wakeboard by myself with a jet ski.
