Hi can people please share their opinion on the 2003 VLX 335 monsoon wake.
Fully loaded with factory Ballast and wedge down.
Is it a reasonably sized wake??

I like it a lot its rampier than a nautique wake. But its my favorite wake of the big 3 with mastercraft OG xstar being the second favorite of the 3 boats to consider around this generation.

I mean there is no substitute for riding

Also the wedge is a gas hog and not a necessity IMO. We dont usually use it on my friends 08 Vride and the wake is still great.

Will be a good solid wake, but i'd want to add weight above factory. Best part about Malibu wakes is that they are easy to get a good clean wake at just about any speed.

loaded with weight and wedge down will it be able to create a similar wake to the newer shape VLX wakesetters?

Well the hull isn't identical, but malibu has always maintained similar wake shapes between all of their boats. So yea, it will create a similar wake to a newer vlx, but not exactly the same.
