Another couple of contributing factors are a) how far down you are discharging your batteries? You are not running industrial level batteries so they will begin permanent degradation when discharged below 50 percent charge. Cycle them too deeply enough times and you will notice a sharp decline in battery performance, b) If you have 450 amp/hours plus a typical 50 amp/hour starting battery you should have a 50 amp 3-stage AC battery charger. If you don't then your batteries may be dying a slow but certain death from sulfation, c) the most efficient speakers and amplifiers will take you only so far. Bad system design, bad subwoofer enclosures and locations, bad tuning, wrong crossover frequencies and misuse of equalization can cut your system efficiency down to a fraction of its potential.
