When I was a kid there were 2 documentaries that were my favorite and fueled my boating, riding and the outdoors. They where The Endless Summer and On Any Sunday. I always thought of what it would be like to travel the word in search of the best wave.
We love to wakesurf and this year wanted to do something different than putting on events and when on a "wakesurf safari" so to speak. To date, the funnest thing I have done and I would love to surf a lake in every state. I hope we get to continue and make that goal, but for now, this is how it started. This took a lot of time and effort, I hope you enjoy.
haha, yes, I was working on that for some time. It was a lot of work. But I love doing those things because they are memorials for my family more than anything. We go back and watch those types of videos as a family and remember the moments. It has been said that you don't get to take your toys with you when you die, but memories last forever. ;-)
Awesome video! Should have came out to Lake Tawakoni instead of Ray Hubbard, that place is a joke! Danger everywhere and too many people that have no idea what they are doing. Let me know if you guys are ever in the area again.
Thanks, and @brett33, my brother lives right next to LRH, so I wanted to check it out. It wasn't bad once you knew where the hazards were. It def wasn't nice or anything. ;-)
@xxrb2010 haha, not quite. They were going to ship the boat to our local dealer and I would pick it up. At the last minute I got the idea of doing this with my kids, and in 3 days I was in my truck headed to Tennessee. Totally spur of the moment adventure and one of the funnest things I have ever done.
