I need to know: Does the Proline Faction Mainline (non coated) Float or stay within the top few inches of the water? Currently I have an Accurate Jacket rope that does float. Are they similiar ropes?

Thanks in Advance. FYI it is on Boarders Best Buy.

It depends on the handle. If you get the Faction handle it will sink your rope.

If I keep my current handle that floats, and the boat is stationary, will the Proline Faction Mainline float?

I think the accurate jacket line has some sort of foam that keeps the rope afloat, does the Proline Faction Mainline have any foam to keep it afloat?

#1 Yes, it should.

#2 No, but I think it should still float.

As long as your handle floats I wouldn't worry too much about the mainline.

Jason ~ FYI the mainlines on www.boardersbestbuy.com today were a coated rope.

Man that must have been a good deal. We sold out in less than 10 hours.

I kept watching the fuel gauge on there and it was half empty so I thought I was ok then I looked back two hours later and the fuel gauge was on a quarter tank, but they were sold out....lol What gives? Usually the gauge is accurate, anyways I got left it the dust..........

Jason ~ Like I said... It must have been the right price because they were selling like hotcakes! Email me if you are still looking for a rope. We have others that might work for you.

I bought one and it stretched a little.... :-(

Enough to where it actually scared me when I was in an invert by pulling me enough to throw me off.

Yeah you guys definately took care of me. I was just giving my experience with this specific line. Looks like you sold them all so no harm done.

No harm at all. I just wanted to make sure you were taken care of.

Dyneema/Spectra is a rope used on ALL wakeboard non-stretch ropes. I'm not sure why yours did.

Jason ~ I didn't see an email from you. If you did send one, please-send it.

I agree Gene. My buddy bought one (not sure if from Boarder's Mall) but it stretched a lot as well.

Eubanks ~ It would be a warranty issue if it did. Tell him to take it back to the place he bought it from and get a new one.
