What do you guys think? I've narrowed my selection down to two boats. The VLX is a sharper looking boat (black Sparkles) and the LSV is bigger but is classic red, white and black. They are essentially the same price. Performance, Preference, etc would be greatly appreciated.

The LSV is a beast to try and weight down; however, I have a VLX so might be biased.

LSV all day IMO. Can never have too big a boat or too much storage. It'll surf better than a VLX. If you boat on a lake that can get choppy then you'll appreciate having more boat. My buddy has a new LSV and it's easy to weight to surf. All his ballast is hidden and only 3 of us every go out so we aren't using any human ballast like 8-10 people. Don't know why anyone would say it's "a beast to weight down" because I've been in both 2014 and 2015 and it's pretty dummy proof. You will need to play with the wedge to your liking though.

I can only speak on using the 06 VLX vs 06 LSV, but it take alot more sacks to get a good wave on the LSV than VLX. Plus, the 23 LSV is a big boat (IMO 1.5 feels alot bigger) so really depends on how big a boat your comfortable driving. The VLX has been very good to me and I would highly recommend it.
