Hey guys! I started learning moby dick now but cant quite get the full rotation. I go off the kicker and get handle pass but then i stop and land my back facing up the water and catch my heelside edge! Any tips how to get the rotation?

It is impossible to pinpoint a mistake without seeing video of the attempt, but I can take a guess. You are likely passing the handle to your back arm, and allowing that arm to lock straight, which stops you from completing the spin within the rotation. Trampoline will help more than anything, but what you need to practice is keeping the handle close to your torso immediately after you pass the handle. The handle should come from around your back and travel close to your abs and back to your front hip for landing. The closer it stays, the better odds you have of taking it to a moby dick 540. Hope that makes sense.

I'm currently working on them behind the boat and have popped the handle on a few at the cable park. I have noticed if I try and pass the handle immediately off the wake or kicker that I kind of stall out and my spin stops at 180. However, if I throw the tantrum first, wait the tinyest amount of time, and then pass, then I come around the full 360. Hope that helps!
