I've wakeboarded a couple of times. and the only time I get to wakeboard is during family get togethers, because my uncle is the only one with a boat.
So thats basically once a year for me.
But we have our own family trips when it's just my family,
and I want to go wakeboarding during our lake trips ,
I heard that you can wakeboard with a jetski?
Which would you recommend for me to get and
Can anyone tell me how that works?

Thank you!

You can wakeboard behind anything you can get to pull you. I have seen people ride behind everything from a jhon boat to a jetski to a party barge. Obviously your wake is going to differ greatly but you can really work on your fundamentals and surface tricks. It all depends on how badly you want to board. Personally if all I had was a canoe and a strong rowing crew I would certainly give it a try.

As said, anything that will pull you on or near water will work.

For the last 2 years or more i have been thumbing rides at my local lake. Just about every time i have gone boarding in the past 2 years it has been with a whole new set of people that i don't even know. Some days i got rides within a matter of minutes, other days, several hours and a few times i went home dry, but not many.

Bring some cash to help with gas and your best manners and courteousy if you do this, (AND your parent's permition- sorry, don't know your age, but thought id throw it out there) Takes major determination to do this though.

AND/OR
try the find a third/need a third thread section. For, me it didn't work so good, and the thumbing rides proved more successful, but it may work better for you.

or if your lucky, someone will read this (or another thread) and conversations will find that another person leaves near you and is willing to give ya a pull. this happened to me while talkin about slingshot.

I boarded behind a jetski for the first 4 years of my riding. It really depends on your size, I'm only 160 lbs so it pops me right up no problem. The one we have is a 130 hp 3-seater Seadoo. I don't think I'd recommend using a 2-seater, although I know it can be done...but most states require a spotter etc, and when learning a second person on the ski to 'help' is handy. The only 'hard' part once you get up is for the driver to both maintain a steady speed and maintain a straight line. However, don't count on getting big airs...jetski's are great for learning how to cruise, learning how to ride switch, mastering ollies and 1-wake 180s...and riding rails if you have access to them. I know some people will be down on them, but a jetski is what got me into this sport, and I still love getting a leisurely pull behind one now and again.
