Here are a few pictures of my stereo upgrade that I had done by the guys at AVC here in GA.

A huge thanks to Chris, Justin, Ben and Robert for all of the great service and help I received.

I'll have more pictures when the JL sport grills arrive and I have a chance to clean the boat.

We are going to need some more pictures and a description of what the system consists of.

The head unit is a clarion CMD4 and is the weakest link in the system. Wetsounds Syn 6 and Syn 4. WS 420, JL 12w6. AVC advised that the Syn 6 would make for a clean amp that powers the Sub and the 4 JL interior speakers. A pair of Wetsound Pro 485's with the Syn 4.

Today I added a ProSport20 charger and have 2 Interstate series 27 lead acids for the stereo bank.

I"ll post more pictures as I go.....

AVC is in Buford. They are at a new location now. The old Cobalt and Nautique Dealership on Friendship Drive.

The hose is a glove box drain tube.....

Same sentiment remains. Wont' that hose melt when that amp heats up?

I going to remove the plastic pipe because it's over kill.

Good location for the WS420 and its a close fit for the Pro485's but they look great!

Nice setup!
Don't worry about the hose, it won't melt.

Looks great. How do you like the 485's?

I love the Pro485's because they sound great. It took awhile for their look and shape to appeal to me. Now I can't imagine anything else. Funny how that works...

I'm very disappointed in way that they have held up in the appearence department. Mine are white and are fading/yellowing badly. I wax them all the time and keep the sox's on them when they are outside in direct sunlight like now when I spring clean the boat. I store them off the boat over the off-season and the boat is under a covered boat for the summer season.

The grills are horrible and two of them are turning green. I bought the stainless replacement but the white is bright white compared to the way mine are now today.

I'm not down on them at all...in fact I love them and I understand they live in a tough environment. However I'm hoping the future hold something more like the direction the Rev10 is going.

What kind of sub did you put behind the drivers seat?

I put the 420 in a different location and loved that it was easily reachable without bending down, and when just resting and no one was in the driver's seat, it was still easy to reach. I would not put it anywhere else.

Not the best picture, but you get the idea.

Its a JL12w6 v2 and it hits hard. My future plan is to have two JL's in the same location.....
