My wife has had the same board for years and she hasn't ridden much lately. I am hoping to get her excited again by picking her up a new setup. We are heading to the Sacramento boat show in a few weeks hoping to scoop up a good deal (perhaps 2016 gear). Recommendations?

There are some really great women's boards from all the manufacturers, and many will be at the show for her to check out! For my wife, her riding really took off when she got on the Ronix Limelight. It is a camber board which is unique to the Ronix line, and gave her the comfortable riding stance, control and soft landings she needed to start really progressing her riding. If your wife happens to snowboard, it has that sort of feel on the water which makes it a lot of fun to ride also.

Jake Pelot and I (Matt) will be at the Sac show in the Ronix booth...stop by and we'd be happy to show you the Limelight (and the other Ronix women's models) and answer all your questions. Also know some really cool ladies on the Hyperlite team and happy to introduce you so you can check out everything they have as well. PM me if I can help any more!

Thanks for the reply Matt. What's a setup going to run ballpark? We'll be at the show on Saturday.

I bought an O"brien Vixen 132 for my wife last year prior to finding out she was expecting. It's still brand new with plastic on it. If your interested I'll make you a deal and sell for $150.

I know a lot of girls riding the Wildchild, and a lot of guys riding the Reverb (same shape different graphics). I believe it's the best shape CWB offers. I've been on it for three years and I can;t imagine a board riding any better.

The faster the better. I've only seen a few girls ride late 3 stages and high rocker-lines well.

Happy to help! Not sure about pricing on previous model gear as vendor will set that for the show. Also will depend on what boot setup she wants to go with. I'd highly recommend the actual Limelight boot if she is cool with closed toe....Ronix boots are ridiculously comfortable but also very supportive. Come on by Saturday and happy to chat more and I'll help any way I can. My wife will be there as well so they can connect and talk about it if too.

OH and your strategy is super solid...get the wife more pumped on riding again makes for even more and better days on the water!!!

Didn't see a PM. Can you resend it? Also, what length is this board?

Hyperlite prizm is the girls version of the Murray board. Absolutely can not go wrong with that one. My wife is currently on the Hyperlite Maiden which is the girls graphic on the Franchise and that's a solid board as well. Both are very predictable and forgiving and come in good price point packages.

Don't think my PMs are sending from mobile. Shoot me a PM with contact info or email me sjcoruja@yahoo.com. Sick deal that they are only doing yesterday and today.
