I am on my phone but does that really say 132k for a tige?

Awesome idea, be sweet if we could read any of the numbers in the pics : )

Also, in KC Boatshow this weekend (from memory sorry no pics).
Tiges
ASR = $116k
Z3 = $87k
Z1 = $72k or 78k I don't remember which....

I am not a lot of help, the KC Boatshow seems to get smaller every year. No correct crafts this year. All we had was:
Tige:
ASR
Z3
Z1
RZR

Malibu:
VLX 21
LSV 23
Axis T22
Axis A24

Mastercraft:
X10

Hmmm, $78,800 for a 2013 Malibu 20 MXZ? My dealer had a 2013 Malibu MXZ labeled for $64,950. The Axix A24 for $72,300 with 350hp motor, stereo pack 2, and standard Bimini (not Z5 rack) is hardly "boat show" price from what I know can get an A24 with 410hp motor, stereo pack 3, and Z5 rack. Those prices at that show overall are high. Then again I guess different regions price differently.

Wait until you guys see malibu axis pricing in the northeast.... It's laughable how high it is. Yet they still outsell everyone else in the northeast....

Keep in mind the Overland Park show is also this weekend with LOTO dealers there. G21 on display over there from Marine Max along with the X30, X46, X55, and a few other Mastercrafts from Wake Effects.

Yeah I could never figure out why KC would have two shows at all, let alone in the same weekend. I've never been to the OP show, used to be everyone was at the Bartle Hall one. I've only been back in the area two years after living in IL and GA since 2007. Not fully acclimated back into the local scene I guess....

It would be nice to see the full options list with the prices.

Some dealers will bring in their boats at the show with almost no options to keep the prices down. While some dealers like to deck their boats out so you have a chance to see all the options, but that also results in a much higher price.

Basically, it's never apples to apples when comparing prices.

Holy crap, "show prices" are $106k on a Centurion and $132k on a Tige. Who woulda thunk it.

At the Oklahoma City boat show they have a pretty well equipped ASR that lists out at 133,417.00 and it's boat show price is 109,988.00 . It's Lime Green/Black and White. It comes with a triple axle custom trailer. They also had a pretty well equipped X-STAR listing out at 155,955.00 that had a boat show special price of 126,955.00. To me that was a huge discount on a Mastercraft. Almost 20%.

See if that is a better image for x46 option review let me know if anyone wants any of the others posted up larger just trying not to clutter the board with massive pictures

I am sure it varies a lot by region..... But in my area, a 20-25% discount on an MC is pretty standard. Take the MSRP, and multiply by .78, and that's the boat price. (For the last few years at least)

I did a lot of shopping this year, and one thing I did notice, is Supra, Tige, Centurion, Malibu, MasterCraft, and Nautique are all VERY close in price now. It is a lot different than what I used to see....

I have noticed the same thing. I guess part of proving you make a boat just as good is for your price to be just as high!!
Old     (polarbill)      Join Date: Jun 2003       01-26-2014, 6:19 PM Reply
I wouldn't be surprised if wakeboarding boats up here in the Seattle area's boat show prices are within 5-10% of MSRP. Malibu's might be listed at MSRP.

My new A24 at the boat show! I can't post the price I paid but the msrp was 83,600 and show price was 7k off that. I worked a deal on this boat a while back however. Special thanks to Gary with Malibu/Axis and Dusty ay KY Boatworks for making me an awesome deal!!! I know there are no speakers but I kept my 410s off my a22

Nice boat Mase. Congrats. Can't argue with the price advantage of an Axis! That's a lot of boat for the money.

... no kidding Robert T... I actually got an exceptional deal from Gary and Dusty. Like I said I cant really post but these guys hooked me up! I have more pics I can post later if you guys want to see them. The reason I did not get the Wetsounds was I already have 410s on my A22 which ill be transferring with a louder amp combo than axis puts on them from the factory. and I would never want the Z5 we only use the bimini maybe 4-5 times a year and dont want to mess with it especially for the price..

First thing I noticed on the boat was the gel- seems way way better done in than in the past. Some of the gel lines on my a22 weren't perfect the 24 was as good as I've seen. Malibu quality

It is a gorgeous A24 and a great value considering prices nowadays. I just think that the dealer saying $76,600 for the boat is nothing special that the average boat buyer couldn't negotiate without a problem. I love my A22.

I think it would be cool for someone that is getting ready to go to a boat show to walk the floor and jot down the price of every new wakeboard boat in the place as it sits. Get home later and find the average. Then we have a real number for the average price for a wakeboat now. I know they all vary in size, but basically any inboard boat considered for wake and surf. My guess is that number will fall around $90K??????
Anyone up for the challenge that has not gone to a show and can be counted on for real numbers?

^^^Are you asking for MSRP or "Boat Show" price? I bet it's over $100k at MSRP. I bet you can get a G25 or XStar over $200k now.
Old     (tyler97217)      Join Date: Aug 2004       01-27-2014, 2:45 PM Reply
Good question... How about both? MSRP and Boat Show price. Then people can also see the % off you get with a boat show price.

I don't know about the G25, but the XStar maxes out at 168k MSRP with every possible option including power tower 7.4l and a blinged out triaxle trailer.... Not 200k yet, but getting there.....

I was at the op show and checked out the nautiques and mastercrafts, pretty sweet. I will say that prices are stupid, just unreal honestly. I can't believe they sell anything at that price! Glad I got my boat back in the day, heck it's still almost worth what we bought it for in 2006.
Old     (polarbill)      Join Date: Jun 2003       01-27-2014, 8:06 PM Reply
I spent some time at the Seattle boat show today. Prices were high like I thought they were going to be on the boats I actually paid attention to the price. I don't remember exactly but I believe the X2(no prices on their boats but basically what the dealer told me) and VTX's that were there were in the 80K+ range. The Malibu 23LSV was in the 90's and I didn't check to see if that was including trailer and prep. I didn't even see the Tige's but I am sure they were there somewhere.

Darrin might know better but I don't think the listed prices last year for Malibu included trailer, freight or prep.

It blows my mind that with a customer base like the Seattle area we don't have a Supra, Moomba, Centurion, Supreme, Axis or Sanger dealer. Now Axis, Supra, Moomba and Centurion were all there but not by dealers in the seattle area or in Centurion's case an actual dealer.

The boats looked nice though and it was great to go on a slow day so I could talk to everybody.

How is your Seattle Malibu dealer not an axis dealer?

Yeah, typically Seattle Boat (Malibu dealer) doesn't include the trailer in their pricing. The fact is you can get "deals" at the boat show. Especially on 2013 product. Dealers really want to move older inventory off their books and at the boat show you can have dealers fighting for your business.

In norcal, we have one dealer doing Malibu / MB, and another doing Supra / Axis.

The Malibu dealer here in seattle did have axis but gave up on it. The market they go after is the uber rich Lake Washington waterfront Microsoft Million/billionaire. They aint got time to deal with Axis.

California Marine Sports in Farifield is carrying Tige/Axis as well for norcal.

If that was the case I'd think they'd be MC or Nautique and if those bases were covered then why even be in the inboard game.
