Info on 04 session 22si

Guys we are looking at buying a 2004 session 22si. I can't find much on them other than pretty well built boat that is not made anymore due to REgal getting out of the wakeboard market.

Hows the surf wave? Wake board wave?

How does this boat handle chop? It seems to have a decent deep v hull. Is there a decent amount of freeboard? My wife didn't like how low our previous 20i was to the water. We swamped the front a few times and that freaked her out. Nothing major or anything just scared her

I actually don't mind the walk thru transom....

what would you price a nice 2004 with pp and 6.2l with about 400-500 hours? 19-20k?


We are coming from a Tige 20i and just need more room. More of a family boat but one that I can surf with and maybe wakeboard a few times each time we are out. Not trying to get the biggest air or crazy tricks. Just want something reliable.

A Session boat in that price range will likely be one of the best values you will find. They are much bigger, deeper, wider, and newer than most boats in that price range (older 205V, SAN, VLX). Most of the ones I have seen are pretty loaded as well (6.2 engine, ballast systems, perfect pass, nice stereo, tower, racks, interior lighting, tandem trailers...). Wakeboard wake is great. Can't help on the surf wake. Definitely a huge step up from a 20i IMO.

We actually went and looked at a Session that was for sale in Indiana and we LOVED the lay out! That is by far the most boat we could buy for our money, but the one we got to look at was ROUGH! And with a few broken pieces we were afraid they would be almost impossible to replace and it just didn't look like the boat had been taken care of at all. I'm sure it could be surfed and made into a really nice boat. Keep us posted I like it!
