That looks bad ass Rance! Don't forget wake pictures that some of us like to see rather then a wave!

Awesome boat !!!
Rode with Rance last night to help break her in.
Wake board wake was huge and the surf wake was awesome right out of the box.
We had 6 people in the boat and extra ballast was not required.

The front section is a suite at the Hilton, the steering controls let you view the water behind you anytime you wish.
The boat cover has been upgraded and fits much better than previous ones.
Thanks for bringing the boat by last night and have fun at the Supra/Moomba jam!

It works great. With the new surf tabs deploying, it really planes a lot easier.

I'm so excited to see this in person! Our local dealer should have one any day now, next is to find out how to get a demo and report back.

We shall see I guess. The previous SA was supposed to be all that too. What's an honest price out the door for a moderately equipped 450? We talking sub $100k?

Not sure your market, but with that motor not sure you can get out the door under 100K. If you do, you did a hell of a job. Hey, all markets are different though.

It's going to be at least 9ft give or take a couple inches.

DTB have you rode behind the SE as well as your 2016 SA
Old     (DatTexasBoy)      Join Date: Aug 2012       08-18-2015, 5:29 PM Reply
I have not, but I had a guy ride behind my boat this weekend that has and he said it was a little better in his opinion. He rides some semi pro stuff.
Old     (Gary)      Join Date: Mar 2010       08-18-2015, 6:05 PM Reply
So he was saying that your wake is better? I am thinking of trading in my SE for a 2016 Supra because of the launch system mostly but trying to decide if I want another SE or a SA
Old     (DatTexasBoy)      Join Date: Aug 2012       08-19-2015, 2:13 AM Reply
Yes he said he preferred the SA wake better.
Old     (Gary)      Join Date: Mar 2010       08-19-2015, 9:35 PM Reply
So if you dont mind me asking what was ballpark msrp of your SA. Also what do you think a trade in value of a 2015 SE would be. I am going to talk to my dealer soon but I just like to hear what others are thinking before I do that.
Old     (DatTexasBoy)      Join Date: Aug 2012       08-20-2015, 2:18 AM Reply
Steve- I think the MSRP was around 124k. However I DIDN'T get Z5, Heater, Tower or sub speakers (inboats only), fancy trailer, docking lights or underwater lights.

I DID add Flake, steering wheel controls, clamping racks, and rear bimini ext. Everything else was pretty standard.

I obviously didn't pay 124k but you know the deal. TIME TO MAKE A DEAL!!!!!!

DTB I am curious what speed and length are you riding also what is the weight situation in the boat like ballast and people?
Old     (DatTexasBoy)      Join Date: Aug 2012       08-31-2015, 5:59 AM Reply
I ride at 23.5&75ft. We had 8 people in boat and 200lbs of lead up front. Stock front 100% and 75% in rear. Wake is phenomenal.

I am 6'4" 220 BTW, just for reference on the pic.

No 4 were up front and they need to be. Would not plane your If they weren't. I'm running the Oj 945 which works better than the acme 2775 and it takes all of it to get there. I run about 4100rpm too.

So is your motor pretty maxed if you are running the 3200 and just a few people?
