So I am a complete newb to perfect pass. I have an 08 Sanger V215 with 12 hrs on it now (Finally). The first couple of times I had the boat out the perfect pass turned on and worked (i did not engage it thou). About the third time it would not turn on and now I have been out about three times and nothing. Any suggestions??? Also where is the paddle wheel located on the boat? I can hold a speed really well but would like the same pull from every driver.

Without more details I would bet it is either a grounding issue or a voltage issue. Perfect Pass is very sensitive to voltage dips and if it gets under 12v all sorts of weird things start happening.

First question - is the display on and does it say system off and display a speed or does it say something like wake.
Or is the display blank?

might have blown the fuse. there is a inline fuse by the master control box. If the fuse is not blown check the voltage coming into the master box to make sure you are getting good voltage, if you are then call PP They have an inline voltage regulator that helps with voltage spikes when you first start the motor. I had the same problem after going threw all of these steps it ended up being that my master control box was bad.
