Looks like the HT-4 is being sold at closeout prices and seems like a good deal. Is this amp any good to power 4 in boat speakers? Right now I just have some Bazooka 6.5s but will probably be upgrading to new speakers in the $150-200/pr range (haven't picked out which ones yet).

And along the same lines, would the HT-1 be good for a single sub, probably going with a 12"

The HT-4 should be more than enough power for almost any 4 in boat speakers. It's capable of 110w per channel. Even the wetsounds xs-650 have an RMS rating of 100w. Most other in boat size speakers will use somewhere in the 50w range.

Same goes with the HT-1 for a sub. 500w RMS at 4 ohms should be good for most everything except the really high end stuff.

Just my two cents, but at that price I am thinking about picking up an HT-4 for my 6 in boats.

Well I couldn't wait for more responses so I went ahead and bought two HT-4 amps. I'm going to see if I can run all 4 in boats, 2 towers and a sub off the two of them. From what I've looked into I can run 4 speakers off two channels and bridge the other 2 channels to the sub on one amp, then run the towers off the other amp.
