Been lurking here for a while and since I'll be taking delivery of the new boat in a couple days figure I'd toss a question out there....

Have a V215 coming and the rear ballasts are a bag setup directly from Sanger, not a hard tank. I figure there has to be a way to remove the existing 250 bags, and simply replace them with larger (ideally 1100's) bags in the stock locations. Obviously the size is what will be restricting me, but I'm not sure how much. From what I see everyone has the hard anks and they have to add to them by adding multiple bags......don't seem to see a lot of these boats rolling around with bags straight from the factory.

Thanks for any light that people can shed on this

Most ballast bags have 1" NPT threaded ports. If yours do as well, then you it's a direct replacement with your sac of choice. Measure the size of the compartment, and buy the appropriate sacs.

What brand are the sacs that are in there now? Chances are they are Fly Highs and any fly high or Straightline sac will work as a direct replacement.

Depending on bags you got I might buy them off you

ill let you know Chris when i pick it up and swap them out. If they have them in stock they 250's may be never used when i yank them off. Id rather knock this stuff out now than down the road

Id like to be able to shove 750 or 1100 bags on each side and just be done with it. I wouldnt expect 100-% filling abilities, but am concerned about just how much "conforming" the bag would do.
