Is a 2004 boat with 48 hours and two different owners a bad sign? I am thinking about going to look at this boat, but I wouldn't know what to look for to tell if there is a problem. What would be causing this boat to be sold so early and often(two owners)?
Any thoughts??
Thanks,
Darin

Typical. They bought and didn't use. To be safe, I would have a dealer plug in and verify the hours.

I know a guy who has a vacation house on a lake and he bought a brand new Mastercraft to keep on the lift at his dock. I bet that boat gets used less than 10 hours a year. It only takes 10 minutes to go around the entire lake and the family is not really into wakeboarding.

The first owner might have bought it, then decided that it didn't suit their needs. Some people just have too much money and think nothing of buying a new car or boat every year. The second owner bought it used, so he obviously isn't the type that buys new every year.

Why not ask the seller what the deal is?

I bought a 02 this year with 48 hours on it. If everything checks fine go with it.

The guy that had mine used it for 2 seasons. Said his friends quit going so the boat just sat in his garage. I now have 120+ hours on it.
