Stephen, what lake do you ride on? My son is located near Notre Dame, but I am not familiar with the area, whats the best lake to ride on and is there any water that is always flat?

We hit up several different lakes depending on the wind direction. We tend to go to Long Lake in Union MI (just North East of Elkhart). Klinger lake has tons of boat traffic, but is good really early or really late. If the wind is really bad, then we will hit up the St Joseph river. You can usually find ride able water on it. If you are in the area, hit me up. If you son wants to ride sometime, have him IM me on here.

Will be in Grand Haven Labor day weekend for a wedding. Any recommendations on boat rentals, any ride-able spots, and other things to do there?

Lots of ridable spots up by Grand Rapids/Grand Haven

Placid Wake Park (placidwakepark.com) is located directly between GR and the lake shore if you are looking to get in the water. They have a Sesitec 2.0 and a MasterCraft X2 on a private well protected lake.

Thanks Stephen, I'll check them out, My son actually lives in St. Joes, but he only surfs. The St Joseph river is way to shallow for wakeboats but great for jet skies.
