I have an Axis A22. The plastic around the front side of the throttle has cracked and the screws will not hold in the plastic causing the front of the throttle to sag. Basically the back screw is the only thing holding it upright. The boat is out of warranty so what could I do to fix this issue. I know the plastic can't be repaired, so how could I get the throttle back secure in the correct position. It doesn't cause cranking issues or running issues, but I don't want it to start.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Is it the throttle itself or what it's mounted to that's broken? If it's the throttle itself, check the brand (likely Teleflex), and contact them to see if just that piece is replaceable on the throttle. If it's on the boat side you might just have to fabricate up a backer plate and reattach that way. Pictures of your problem would help with getting you a solution.

Yeah a backer plate should do the trick.
