Will v215 or 96" beam sized boats fit through 9ft wide door. I'm assuming yes but want to be sure. Taking guide posts off shouldn't be a problem if needed.

Measure, measure, measure, to be sure. Your beam is typically the widest point in the boat but in some cases, esp for boats with narrower than 102" beam, the fenders may hang out a little bit past the boat. You'll want to eyeball down the side and determine if the boat or the fenders are the widest point, and measure there.

Keep in mind also that a 9ft wide garage door does not have a 9ft wide opening. Your gonna lose between 1-2" per side due to framing, trim, door seals, etc...

Here are the numbers on mine and it is razor close to get in the door.
1989 Supra Sunsport (95" beam advertised)
The widest point is actually 99", and the fenders are this same width
9ft garage door (108") but in reality I have only 105 inside the trim.

So I basically have 3" to play with on each side of the boat.

My 102" RZ2 would not fit in a 10' wide storage container. It might have fit if I was able to back straight in but I couldn't because of the relatively narrow space between the storage units. I was just a few degrees off from straight in and It wouldn't fit. I only needed to use the storage for a month so I found another space with a 12' wide door opening.

Got to boat. The width is 102.5" and on my 16' door loses just under 1". I'm hoping that's all the 9' door loses. It would be tight with few inchs to spare.

Does anyone do this?

I was recently looking at a v215 before I bought the v210. I measured the width of the trailer guides and if I remember correctly it was 108".

103" between guide posts on my v215 going to be a tight squeeze.

I do it every year. If you take off the guides you'll have a couple inches on each side with a 9' opening.
