Buying one or the other
2011 mb twb. (B52)
No wake plate
Pretty much perfect condition except a few scratches

2006 malibu vlx
Power wedge
Has yellowing in the sun pad because of black cover.
Deep scratch that went into fiberglass ( only effects the look)

I'm coming from a 03 wakesetter,
I'm a decent rider, scarecrow, backroll, backroll2 reverts, raley, 3's, 5's etc.
Always wanting to surf but not good enough wake. Why I want a newer boat.

Which boat is better for what I'm wanting to do.
Also have very small children, but they won't be riding, and I plan on buying a newer boat once they get older anyways.

Board 70 percent
Surf 30 percent.
Just to be clear, I am a beginner in surfing, I can go rope less now, and want to be good at it very soon so I do need a decent wake to progress on. ( very competitive with myself) lol

Any help would be appreciated thanks

"Board 70% of the time"= VLX

If you surfed more, or most of the time, I'd say either boat..... But for that much wakeboarding, VLX/thread.

How many people do you intend on having in your boat? I am not sure how the wake is on the twb, but if it support what you do now, and you have space requirements, the twb seems to be a really good choice. Shawn should be able to chime in here shortly.

The 21 TWB wake is excellent. You will not be disappointed with that.

I think I'm talking to Shawn on the mb forum,
There will mainly be 3 ppl, every now and then a group of 6 will go.
The only space requirement I have is a 7 ft garage which I believe the malibu will not fit in because of the tower.
But the mb will fit. Length is not a issue.
I'm just afraid if I go with the 06 vlx I will be very disappointed in the surf wake, I guess I can try to make a surf gate like a lot of ppl to make it surf better.
I figured with the mb being 5 years newer that it would be geared a little more to surfing than 06, surfing got popular I feel right around 06 and boats really were not being build for it. ( just my own thinking)
Appreciate your guys opinions thanks
If you have any more opinion or anything to say please feel free to.
