Any info will help. My son currently rides a hyperlight SYN 132... I want to get him a new setup this off season. I am looking at a hyperlight Murry 134, B-SIDE 136 or a merak 135. Any thoughts on these boards and sizes? He is currently 5'3" and about 95 lbs and GROWING. Unfortunately we can not ride for about 3 or 4 months so I am trying to guess on his growth by next summer. He is a good rider and just ready for a new board. Thanks for the help.

Hi, might have something that you might find useful on my site, its a buyers guide. It's always hard trying to choose a board at this age but as you've said i'd say you can't go wrong with a 134-136.

I'm guessing that you'll mainly be riding boat from what boards you've said your looking at, the Marek is a really good board but i can be very aggressive and sometimes unpradictable. I've got some impartial reviews that you might find useful.

Hope this helps.

130 and 135 Ronix Bill has to be top 1 or 2 in grom boards from what I have experienced.
My 110 pounder rides the 130 and kills it high and deep into the flats with no ballast behind an old ski boat. He loves it, says its super fast and loose and it pops like mad. It also has a slider base and a decent allotment of flex for park trips.
Evo has it in blanks and combos for really good prices right now. Less than what I paid.
Good luck and isn't it fun buying a board for your boy(s)? I have 2. Its like being a 12 year old with a Master Card.

Thanks for the help!!! As of right now I am leaning towards the Murry 134... I just hope it is not too small for the future. ..

It's a shame the next size up is a 137, I think that would just be too big. The Bill 135 would be a good choice but its more well rounded for hitting rails and no just the wake, it really depends on the type of riding you do, if your riding more boat than cable, go for the Murray, it looks the part too.

Another board you might want to consider is the Franchise 134. Has a continuous rocker like the syn but a bigger rocker with more pop
