Any suggestions for a wakeboard boat under 20' 6". Any suggestions for a reasonable boat?

Either new or used but not something like a 1997 that cheap. So 2004-2007 Under $30,000

Finding something under 20' 6" might be a problem. The X-2-X-1 is a 210.

Well your not going to find a 07 for under 30k unless you want a I/O or something of that nature.
Does it have to be under 20-6 ?

What about anything used?
Old    walt            02-11-2007, 1:41 PM Reply
There are lots of great used boats for 30K but I can't think of any that I'd recommend that are smaller than a 210 and from 04-07.

Maybe you can find a 20ft direct drive that will work for you.

There has to be some used boats that you would recommend. I think there are some malibus or some other ones
Old    walt            02-11-2007, 1:49 PM Reply
You can find a ski boat that will fit the bill that might work for you.

The year and price is no problem but I can't think of anything smaller than a 210 that I'd recommend except a old Nuati 2000.

I need an open bow

I really like the Tige 20v or Switch so if you know anyone who has one let me know

The Mastercraft X-1 is a great choice. You can find some 06's for a great price at this time of the year when many dealers are paying taxes on the 06's left on the lot.

The X-1 is a 210 and he needs 206 or less.

The X-1, X-2, X-Series, X-star (Damn MC's skitzo naming) is 20' 7". Get a saw out this is the best boat in that size range.

I thought I saw somebody one this site with the same problem and turned his 23' boat into a removable snub nose. When the law came out saying he couldn't be on the lake he just took off the removable nose and went about his riding. Maybe someone would know the link.

What about a 2-3 year old Tige 20V???

It sounds to me that they have looked at wakeboard boat sizes and structured the rules around those. Get a MC 205V, its v-drive and open bow, and remove 1" off the nose. Maybe just removing the rubrail on the nose will do the trick. Other than that, I'd say you have a difficult job ahead of you finding a v-drive wakeboad boat under $30K and under 20'6".

Buy a new VTX with a friend who is nicer to boats than you are (then you're not the one who is ticked) and there you have less than 30k and 20' even.
I like byrd's suggestion though.

Wakecraft is 20'6" with open bow and v-drive.
They might even shave an inch off the bow for you to get you under. You will have to trade something to get the price to $30k

Try for an '06 Supra 20SSV. They measure at 20'6" or 8". You might be able to get a used one for a somewhat reasonable price. I dont think it will be under 30 but maybe 35-40.

You can find a Moomba Outback or Outback V for that price

How close does it have to be.......Vote for Centurion Cyclone C4 20ft 8inches V_DRIVE. with advanced level wake capabilities, excellent ride, and bomb proof. CAn't beat the performance and room given by this 20ft'r. Second would be the Tige 20V

it has to be exact the security checks what is on the title

the x1 is not a 210. its a 205v hull which is 20 feet 7 inches but i bet if you measured it would be 20' 6" or less. i was able to get one on a lake with a 19' 10" limit on it

WEll in that case you will be hard pressed for that indeed......Not sure the dimensions of the Nautique excel, but that is a v-drive boat that will kick up a wake for sure.

But it's justa tough call as it has been stated that wakeboats for th emost part are riight around 21ft. The Tige would be the best if you could find a used one, but the Bu VTX sounds like a winner for sure. as does the Supra 20ssv. Just those are gonna be in the 40's for sure

Here are some closed bow ideas as well...an x-5 or without a doubt the best small wakeboat a late 80's Ski Nautique 2001 series.
