Hi there,
Can anyone help me out with explaining the difference between the wakesetter and the wakesetter 21 XTI? Is the top of the boat different and if so what is the difference??

www.malibuboats.com

Mostly interior layout and I think the xti has the diamond hull. The wakesetter is a fairly typical dd layout. The xti has a very different layout.

different seating arrangment, same hull, same motor as standard Wakesetter and VLX

I believe Mike O is correct on the hulls. The diamond hulls are optional on both. Best I could tell on the malibu site.

One has interior room (Wakesetter) and the other has none (XTI)...one has resale the other doesn't (see above).

The XTi is designed to give the seating layout of a v-drive with the handling and multisport performance of a v-drive.

If you're using the boat for wakeboarding only and you can't afford a VLX, get the Wakesetter (which is only available on the SV23 hull).

I am using the boat only for wakeboarding!!
So what is better a used air nautique or a new Wakesetter?

XTI and VLX Wakesetters are on the SV23 hulls. I like the XTI sitting area, but cant find a way to put weight in it so I really favor the VLX. You just can't beat a Wakesetter VLX!
