Hey guys I need Your help on a few questions.
I just purchased a 2001 air nautique with the stock clarion cd player. My first question is where is the best place for the subwoofers. I have heard that by the drivers feet is the best place. If so, what is behind the wall where the fuses and bilge pump switch are and is there enough room for a 12" subwoofer.

Next what would be the best subwoofer for a phoenix gold zx500(2 oem stable and 600x1). I have a phoenix gold zx200 for my tower speakers which are 4-kicker k60's in the liquid audio cans.

Thanks in advance for the help and I have already learned alot by reading on the discussion board!

Sub Woofer:
My personal favorites include:
Infinity Kappa Perfect,
Image Dynamics ID MAX D4,
JL Audio W7.
Either of these will run fine on PG. Others are reported to be good but I haven't heard them so I won't recommend anything I haven't heard.
Good luck

Ricci: Yes there is enough room for a 12 at the drivers feet, The heater and a bunch of wires are behind there. You will need to relocate them, But IMO its worth it, aslo the passenger side is a great place for a 12 you loose storage but its much easyer to locate a sub there because you dont have to re-locate anything, Or you can install a 12 in both locations. For more photos you can look thew my website attached , I also have a Air.
This is a small JL W3 in a Store bought box, Its the kind that goes behing a drivers seet in a truck. The box was like $45 and will fit right back there

This what the spot looks like when you relocate all the wires and the Stock heater
