This year in Ga I have felt like I live in Ireland or something. Here it is August and I am thinking about breaking out the wet suit top.

Has me wondering what Winter will be like. It was mild last Winter, but if this cool down keeps up as well as the precip we may be in for a cold, snowy Winter.

We have had an absurd amount of rain, that's for sure. I was stoked on the cool weather yesterday/today. Felt great outside. It'll be back in the 80s/90s again, don't worry about that.

We were on the water on Wed night and it was 68F when we put the boat in. Sweatshirts were on all night. Heck the water was warmer then the air! This could be bad!!!! I'm in Central Indiana. Looks like we will be driving south a few more times this year for sure!

East TN has been terrible as well. We typically average 50+ days in the 90's and many years more than that. So far we have had 9 and it rains 3-4 days a week which most of the time it is on the weekends. 50% chance of rain this Saturday and 60% chance on Sunday...SUX.

Agreed, the last few days have been quite pleasant for "life" but I want the heat and sun back!

SW Florida the temperature of the air and water have been warm all summer. However it rained like something from the Old Testament for all of June and most of July and when it wasnt raining, the wind was howling.
Learn and adapt. I would look at the weather to get wind direction then check the tides for a corresponding flow and ride whenever the two were in agreement. Sometimes dawn, sometimes dusk and sometimes in the middle of the day. Its odd to think that at 2:00 PM on a weekend just off the party central sand bar and among rental boats and tubers and jet skis that the very best conditions could be found. But that's the way it was all summer. If the wind are tide are opposing I may as well stay home and mow the lawn. River riding must be the same.

I feel everyone's pain. With that being said, it has kept a lot of other boats off the lake. We pulled for about 3 miles down the river yesterday at 5pm with the water completely glass and never passed another boat. The overcast day kept even the fishermen off the lake. It was nice.

I thought we were only dealing with this in the North East, good to know it's not just us. We literally have only had 2wks that were consistent 80's this year. Normally we have 6-8wks of consistent 80's & 90's. Water temps are down, and it's rained like crazy.

Its only hit 82 degrees one time in the last 26 days, really sucks, even some of the trees are starting to turn colors, september averages in the 70's, nice for outdoor activities, not so nice for wakeboarding, if I wanted Canadian weather, I would go North!

Blame it on global warming.
