I would like to install some cup holders and build out the back of this area. Would love to see pics.

As it is now, there is a nylon mesh with tension on the top of it to keep things secure. The back part is plain just vinyl (removed in pic). Thanks all!

rip that mesh out, get some marine plywood and cut out the holes. cover with carpet and flush mount it so that the top of the cupholders is even with or just below the edge of the pocket. You may have room for a speaker or two in there as well.

your boat looks like a centurian. I had a 01 elite v that had the same side panels I cut a custom piece of wood and cut holes for the cupholders think I fit 3 or 4 on each side covered the wood in carpet then I used the vinyle that was along the back and ran to the back of the wood turned out pretty good. I will have to see if I can dig up the pictures.

Jaron, please post some pics. I have an 03 Elive V that I'm wanting to do the same thing with.

The netting is all loose and nasty on my Elite V too . I would love to see your pictures of the cup holders. I was trying to figure out how to stuff a Alpine marine baffle mounted sub in there... But the cup holders sound like a better use of the space.

Throw some LEDs above the cupholders for a little effect. Better yet, put the lights under the cupholders or you could get some plexi rings made for each one. Just to snazz it up a bit.

Where do you get the LED's for sumpin like that. That is a great idea - i was thinking about putting them behind the top of that compartment, but on the cupholders sounds great too.

see this thread for some ideas on plexi rings and LEDs. http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/showthread.php?t=777812

most folks are using www.superbrightleds.com/ for the lights.
