i think its a great DVD. It sure seems like they focus more on spins then inverts though. I know spins can be more technical but inverts sure are funner to watch. Collin wrights section got a little boring. he seemed just to do 180s and 3's most of the time with different grabs. hes a great wakeboarder but it got old fast. Overall the video was great and got me pumped to ride. I also convinced myself I can land new tricks after they make it look so easy. so i'm sure i'm gonna kill myself the next time i go out. They sure did have awesome water at the delta. Sucks i'm in Utah

I think part of the reason for the focus on spins is this: style. west coast riders generally do more spins, as they look a little more stylish than the inverts. dont get me wrong. inverts are cool too, but I would rather see a wrapped 5 with some sort of grab variation, than most inverts out there. but that is just my opinion. ten years ago, I thought differently...
and I have the movie, and think it is great. it is so cool to see Josh Smith still killing it all these years later. I was hoping to see Igor and Nelson in there too, but not sure if they ride anymore.

IGOR! Dude I totally forgot about that guy, thanks thomas!

I am in agreement with thomas. I think spins look soooo good, especially grabbed. Plus they are def harder than the typical invert; which may be why I respect them more. For years I wanted to learn an invert, now all I want to do is spin well, lol, kind of a phase I guess.

I think the main thing is doing what you want to do on a wakeboard and not following the masses and whats trendy. Look at the history of contests and who was speaking out against the formats, spinners. I think it was Harris who went out and through down nothing but spins at a contest in response to the judging format. It was pretty much agreed that his run was way harder than anyone elses yet he didnt even make podium. Someone feel free to correct me on the details since its pretty foggy.
