Anyone try these covers for bunks?

Just wondering if they hold up and if the boat will slide more than carpet while towing in the rain.

This 24oz seems like a good product with no rubber backing for drainage but cost of shipping is half the price of the kit. http://www.basscatstore.com/bunksandbunkmaterials.aspx

Installation Note:
With Bunk Wraps there is no need to remove your old worn out carpet. Just mount the Bunk Wraps right over the top!
Make sure to put a layer of wax on you hull during installation. Yeah it won't scratch at all...

I don't know how confident I'd be that they're really lifetime, as in 30-60 years... Of course the boat will slide more than carpet if it's not strapped properly though. Solution is to strap it down securely, regardless of bunk material.

In any event, I just apply liquid rollers periodically.

How good is that stuff? the ramp I use is very finicky... And how many uses do you get out of one can?

My concern with many of these products is keeping the boat from slipping around. Carpet seems to have the right amount of friction. Unfortunately it tends to wear out especially when exposed as my trailer is usually empty with the boat on a lift year round.
