jetskier - wtf

So, we're waiting to trailer the boat and there's a jetskier launching. This guy takes the jetski off the trailer and just jumps back in his truck and drives off, leaving the jetski untethered right in the middle of the launch ramp. My buddy brings down my trailer and squeezes in next to the jetski and we load the boat. After we wiped down the boat and left the guy STILL hadn't come back to get his jetski.

Amazing.

Saturday when I'm pulling out. I drop off my friend to go get the truck and then put around the marina waiting 2 be next in line. Said friend cannot back up the trailer. Usually I wait until said friend is next in line and then tie up my boat and run up the ramp to back up. Well the boats were 2 deep in the 15 minute tie up area. Had been for over an hour. The owners of the boats were all drinking beer on the loading dock. I pull up to them a ask if one of them would go back my truck down since I can't tie up. Big fat guy with no shirt on says no problem. Sends his wife that can't back up to save her life. Stupid broad almost jacknifes my trailer. The line was well over and hour to take out. Then the chick can't seem to pull forward to get my boat out. I was pissed. Next time I'll tie up to the jackass's boat and walk across it. As I'm finally pulling out big fat guy punches some teenager in the head. Every year I say but I'll say it again NO BOATING ON HOLIDAY WEEKENDS!

So you asked a complete stranger to back your trailer down the ramp because your friend can't do it? Sounds like your friend needs to learn, and I would NEVER trust a stranger with my truck and trailer.

Yes, they were wrong for sitting there taking up dock space to drink beer. Some people have no common sense at all.
