Ha! Once I read the thread title, I wondered if this was about Folsom. We tried Browns Ravine a couple weeks ago. Not good. There are clear patches out there, but not long until you start hitting debris again. Pretty frustrating. Just one of the many reasons I don't like that lake.

We launched at Brown's Ravine on Saturday morning and had an epic time. Lake was mostly clear of debris where we were riding (mouth of the south fork), water was smooth and there was almost nobody on the water. There were some logs floating here and there, but nothing difficult to deal with. Those pics of Granite Bay are rough, though.

Glad it worked out for you. We had to keep stopping, hit reverse to shake the driftwood etc off the prop and then take off again. We were in the south fork as well.

Looks like every time the tide changes where I ride... Seriously, that sucks. Lots of cleanup to be done. I like how they put angled grooves in the pours for your ramps.
