The pain of learning Raleys

So we were out on tulloch this weekend doing some shreddin BCP style with bling bling and spread eagle. My fiancee decided to go for raleys. After the first attempts she started to get the board underneath her. She almost stuck a couple. Then, on her last attempt she got the board underneath her, but her legs buckled and she kneed herself in the face BCP style. here are some cool pics of her after being stiched up. Later BCP, Mike

Busted herself at 8 am ...13 stitches and back on the water by noon!

. i agree that there is a lot of pain involved in learning raleys. when i was learning raleys i got hurt a lot. i bruised my ribs pretty bad, blacked out a couple times from hitting my head, and hit my balls so hard i thought i was paralized

Ouch...I did that last year on a HS 5. I don't try them into the flats anymore. I guess you don't really have a choice with raleys.

Chicks this hot are not suposed to be killing it.
Ashley is Da-bomb. After 3 crushing falls that would have sent most men back to the boat she wanted to keep going. The one that busted her chin wide open and sent enough blood into the water to call over any lake sharks didnt really faze her. She wanted to keep riding. Mike had to say "no honey we are going to the hospital"
I felt bad you dont like seeing anyone get busted more less a cute girl. Ashley took it like a pro and didnt seem to let it bother her. She even said "your gonna take some hard falls hear and there learning new trick's thats just a fact you gotta get over it" She was so close to pulling it off I can see how she wanted to keep trying. Get well soon.

She will land it next time she rides. She was riding in rough water at the end of the set. She has the hard part down of getting the board back underneath her. She goes huge, not like most girls. I am a little biast but she is going to go from being a good wakeboarder to a very very good wakeboarder very soon. Her other tricks are much bigger then most girls. Once she is back on the water I will get some video footage and post it. BCP MIke

Joe, she is landing just basic inverts right now. Back rolls, tantrums, front rolls and a couple scare crows. She also has landed some huge heelside 3s.
But she has a really good fundamentals. It took her some time to get those down but now her riding will really explode if she gets the water time (our lake sucks). Like I said when she heels up I will post some video.
