Lake Trinity Warning

Just got back from Lake Trinity last weekend. Spent a week there at a cottage in what use to be called Wyntoon resort which has now been taken over by KOA. I will not be returning to this place. Trinity is great. Although while we were there the water was not like it was the year before when we spent the year there. However, it was a good week. The KOA staff that run that place are seriously lacking. I don't normally like to talk bad about people or their ability to do their work, but these people on a very wide basis are lacking the ability to comprehend any normal or rational thoughts. They don't know anything. The main desk couldn't tell me what boat slips we had. Then when they could give me a number, they didn't know where they were actually located at the dock. They told my buddy that he didn't have a reservation for a boat slip. Our group has been going to this place ever year for a week. We all have boats. We all bring boats. But, somehow he didn't have a reservation. And of course, they are booked. We finally got it worked out, but talk about hassle. You're suppose to be on vacation and then you have to deal with this crap, and the people are not the smartest people in the world to say the least.

Anyhow, just wanted to put the word out. Stay away from this KOA campground. These people are morons. We will not be back.
