My wife has apparently caught the TRX bug. She has been doing it pretty steady with a trainer at the gym for the last couple of months, but the sessions are starting to add up a bit. It looks like we could hook the system up at our house. is this like P90X, where there are representatives who get credit or discounts on the products? if so, are any of you crazy fitness guys a part of it.
I know its not super expensive to get the stuff, but I thought if there were discounts out there, and any of the WW crew could get some credit for it, I should check.

thanks as always WW!

go buy a set of rings ( gymnastics) and a pair of tie downs....$20 total and you have some homeade TRX bands

I split time between a regular gym and a smaller bootcamp style gym ( 1-2 days a week) and the owner is very creative when it comes to equipment.....

Interesting. I might have to look into that option. TRX website seems quite pricey, and very nickel and dimey.

They're really not that bad. for 150$ you get the straps and a door stopper thing that lets you use the straps while traveling. It's a lot nicer than trying to pack rings and tiedowns into your suitcase I think.

TRX is cool. I use it to supplement my workouts. You can do a lot of cool stuff. But once you learn the moves, a trainer really isn;t necessary.

Im seeing the home kit on their site for $200, and that does not include the anchor system which they are selling for $40. I can just get something from Ace hardware for the anchoring, but this seems pretty expensive. Didnt see much difference on amazon either.

You can do better if you play the bids. And honestly, you could probably loop the trx around a towel on the outside of the door.
