I'm planning on getting a new board in the off season but in the meantime, my current board's screw holes came out on one side of my board where I like to screw in. It's an older board that's had its day (CWB Ecstacy) but I would like to finish the season with it and keep my stance. I see a lot of repair kits for dings and such but I'm not so certain that would work for bonding the wakeboard to the metal screw holes. I've searched here and someone suggested T-nuts though they've never tried it themselves.

I have a few t-nuts at home but I'd prefer not to be a trailblazer. My own idea is to just bolt straight through the board but I can see that being a bit of a safety issue. I may just move the bindings in a bit and live with it. Any other suggestions or has anyone actually tried out the t-nuts?
