I'm surprised this hasn't come up yet. Smart move by Heyday, Dylan is legit. From the looks of the boat I'm still not the biggest fan but I like the vision.

Just buy used. $40K can still buy a lot of boat.

Agreed. But its the idea that I like, separating tow boat from luxury item. The work truck of wake boats so to speak.

Interesting move. I'm looking forward to seeing what is possible behind that boat.

I think Heyday has got a good idea. Many consumers don't want to buy used, just like with cars.

I do too, but they botched it with that layout. glad to see they're back on the right path. what are those channels under the pickle fork?

wake looks awesome

The WT-2 looks better than the WT-1. I still wouldn't buy one, but it's a step in the right direction.

Definitely a good move by heyday. I honestly like the look of that WT2 on the water, except for the funky front. Still would like to see a windshield too. Wake looks good in that video, wonder how it was set up?

Dylan is the absolute right kind of rider for them to sponsor. This may not be the right term but I think of him like a working class wakeboarder... in that he didn't come up with boats always provided for him and high end coaching and all that. He strikes me as a worker and a self made rider (like Benny G was). The message in this ad is perfect.

Hope they can make a go of it.

Saw this video as well. I'm impressed with them signing him. In many ways Dylan is the definition of what's legit in wake. IE he is wakezeach etc. Having his backing of this brand is huge. I do think they need to work on their aesthetics but hopefully Dylan can help there too. I'd love a chance to demo a ride on one.

It really is a good move. It shows that they want to appeal to a different side of wakeboarding. These days cable park riding is equivalent to going to the snowboard park at the mountain. And boat riding has become the big mountain riding of our sport. Its like a special treat you don't get to do very often but is totally different than park riding. But there's this whole other side that will ride wake, hit jibs, and experiment with all kinds of tricks behind boat. I think its cool that Heyday is trying to tap into that riding. Its not all about 10s and doubles. Shoot some of my favorite riding is less than 540 rotation but with weird grabs or cuffed or you name it. Re entry tricks, jibbing docks or wallriding bridge walls. There's so many ways to shred behind that doesn't require a G. I must say though, this weekend I'm linking up to ride a G all weekend and I can't wait . The point is though I think there is so much room for a boat company to fit in if they do it right. Lots of uncharted waters in the boat riding department when you blur the lines between wake/urban/park. Dylan Miller probably knows better than anyone how to accomplish this. Fingers crossed. Really glad to see some other positive thoughts on this.
