I've read on hear about ppl putting beer bottles and what not in the toes of their bindings to stretch them out. But how long do I soak my bindings in hot water for?

Emily, there really is no set time, just play it by ear. just need the rubber to get a little more plyable.
I used wine bottle once to stretch the upper half of the binding(had trouble clearing my heel).

you know what?? I wouldn't recommend using beer bottles full of hot water or cylindrical stuff like that... remember that footbed are made of EVA foam just like the underlay of a binding except softer... I did this once and my footbeds took the shape of the bottle which made the bindings less comfortable for a while... they got back to the original shape a couple of weeks later but were always softer... the best way to stretch bindings IMO is to soak em in very hot water(almost boiling) for 5 minutes, then put them on dry and let them cool down... you might want to wear a pair of wool socks to bloc a bit of the heat and to stretch them a little more...

You just gotta heat them up pretty good and put your feet in. The best way is to walk around in them as they cool, be sure to move them every which way. I stretched my Zeus out with an Old Spice deodorant stick. A beer bottle would have come nowhere close to fitting.
