Has anyone used a Hyperlite Roam as a tramp board?
I'm guessing with no fins and dull edges it could work just wondering if anyone has used one in this manner.

Cheers

it might be a little too big/heavy to do it. I used wakeskates on the tramp a few times and that was fun. but if u wanna strap in theres plenty of tramp boards you can get. I think its just as fun to jump around without any equipment. all I need is a rope and a nice tramp to mess around and practice the same time.
Me and my friends quite often even go to rebounderz and jump around. good times.

i use an old skateboard deck with some old shoes bolted to the skate deck. At the hardware store they have these flush tooth grabing nuts that works great on wood deck to fasten. throw some 200mph duct tape on the bolted flush part just for poops and giggles and start jumping. Chances are you have everything at home for free............ maybe you spend $2.50 at the hardware store. Have fun.

Hey gus thanks for the suggestions, I only asked becaus eI just picked up a 13ft trampoline, and I already have a roam. I will try the tramp with no board but I just want to do this as cheap as possible, cash it in short supply!

I use my Roam as a tramp when I'm bored at home. Its really heavy, but funner, I think than a skatedeck of other tramp boards because it gives you the actual feel of the weight, size, and movement from the bindings. You cant use it for technical tricks (tantrum is about the limit for inverts), but it is really fun to practice stylish grabs with 180's, 360's, and 540's. All in all i wouldnt buy it just for a tramp board, but if you are going to buy it for rails and cable (really awesome board, super easy to edge, press, and jib) I would go ahead and use it on the tramp.

Second the old skate deck with shoes attatched. It's all we use and it's not cumbersome to regain control of like a bigger board would be if you get out of shape...

I also agree with Norbi on this, even though the Roam is fun at times, just give me the rope and tramp and I have the most fun like that, learning mobes, whirlys, and big spins.
