Hello all,

My name is Jason Neal, I'm 21, been riding in the summers when I've had a chance for at least 6 years. Anyway, I'm studying abroad in Sydney, Australia this semester at the University of Sydney (until the end of June) and would love to meet some other wakeboarders in the area. Even better if I could find someone to give me a tow, for sure. Unfortunately I know nobody here and don't even have my board with me. Any Aussies on the board here feeling charitable? I would of course pay for my gas and whatnot to anyone who hooked me up.

Email me at jnea6003@usyd.edu.au if you can help this fellow rider out.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing next winter semester,(but i dont know which university in australia) and I was kind of wondering what surfing was like down there, and where i could do it, i might try to do that and wakeboard if I get to go down there. Does anyone have any suggestions about what university to attend, or even a different country I should check out?
thanks

luke-

Cheers. I'll try to find their club when I'm on campus more, and I'll check out that site for sure. Anyone else with suggestions for the Uni? Or just Sydney-area riders with an extra spot on the boat?

jason, try www.wake.com.au search for a guy named napsta. He is heavily invloved with the sydney uni wakeboard/waterski club.

Justin. Want to surf and wake the only way to go is the University of Queensland. The beach is an hour away by train (goldcoast) And they have a wakeboard club that rides on campus with 2 malibus. Also remember next semester is winter, stay as north as posible in Oz and the winters are hot.
