Have you guys notice the price drop from the $399.00 price of the 06 to the same board but 07 to $169.00?

What's up with the huge price change?

Is this a typo on wakeworld wakeboards review or since Darin Shapiro left his model has lost it's market place? They look like they are made with the same way and shape.

Good eye. I've always wanted a Demented. Can anyone confirm this?

Holy crap, I paid 450 for mine! At that price I'm going to get one as a back up. Thanks for the heads up.

It's the exact same board except it comes with some cheap plastic fins. Replace those and you have one awesome wakeboard at a sweet price!!

Later,

Sick graphics this year too.

J (or anyone else) can you compare the handling to the Natural? (I don't want one for me but just want to know if I should recommend it to some of my friends.)

Josh,

THe Demented is probably O'Briens fastest board - it also holds a really strong edge (that feels good when you are on it) but is loose when flat. It's got progressive rocker so the pop is smoother than 3-stage, but the wide tips & strong edge make it snap off the wake really well. It's got 4 outer fins and is pretty hard to ride "finless".
