Alright guys, About 70 Trips To Mills Fleet Farm, countless hours of late night builds. Endless tweaks/mods, Our Winch is FINALLY complete! We Named her the "Ratt" With inspirations taken from so-called 'Rat-Rods'. Anywho here are some Specs:

Weight- Alot.
Wheels-Hell Yeah
Line-600 Ft AMSTEEL BLUE (from seattlemarine)
Motor: Old Crappy (but reliable) Briggs n Stratton 7hp
Gear Ratio: about 12t - 45t
Throttle: Belt Tighten/Lawnmower Throttle.
Extras/Random: Electric Push Button Start, 4 Foot-Spool Engage Lever, complete with Skull Shift Knob, No Parking Sign as Spray Guard

What a creation! haha....if you dont mind me asking, how much did it take to put that together as far as cost of materials?...I need to make one! Congrats on finally gettin it complete! Now you can ride the shore line whenever you want!

well, all the metal for the frame was free, cause my friends dad works at a metal shop, so that was a big help, plus he had the motor already, so all in all were sittin at about 300 bucks into it right now, the spool costed around 100 to make, the line was like 100 bucks, (which is a steal by the way), and about 100 bucks in misc. hardware and what not, she works just fine, and it never fails to get looks! haha

its definaltly fun to get into, and the satisfaction of building your own, and having it be a sucess is awesome and worth whatever you spend

its much more solid/rigid than it looks. And i know it looks like a piece o' crap, but thats exactly what we were goin for, and the thing runs like a champ, gonna be a good season

Post the pics of the person who falls face first into the rocks.... If it hasnt already happened.... do it when it does. Will be interesting to see how they do....

haha that picture is deceiving, the rail wasn't actually THAT close to the rocks, and yes a wall ride would be so nasty right there
