Just got my new boat.... Totally stoked on this. For a boat that is 21'8" it feels like a 23' when you are sitting inside it. It is a beast. We got out on the water for a few minutes, but the water was just too rough and too much debris in the water to risk damaging anything. We will get it out to test the SWELL and all systems soon enough and will share info. The windows get tinted on Thursday and then next month it will be getting a full Exile system with 4 Surf 9's on the tower.
Totally digging the new steps that Boatmate is putting on these trailers. It would have been really difficult getting in and out of the boat on the trailer without them. Love the wheels and tires too. Nice work Boatmate!!!

Anyone that thinks Supra is not competing with the big boys now should go check them out in person. Totally different boats now. The last couple releases with the SA, SC, SWELL and new interiors have been awesome. Definitely a good price increase with it, but the bar has been raised. Nice work Supra!

Thanks Greg Active Water Sports as well. Always totally awesome to deal with!

Still thinking about blacking it out a bit more..... Want to wait until the windows are tinted first and see what else to black out.... Look close at the back. The rear accent is all black metal flake.... Pops in the sun

Absolute beauty!!I think its time to change to "the big 4" or more, instead of "the big 3".I think "the big 3" phrase is becoming obsolete.

Diggs ~ That's what I like about my boat, 21' but feels like a 23 on the inside. This might be by far the best looking boat you have had. Can't wait to see it with the system and tint.

Nice Boat. I would Black out the 4 silver screws on each of the outer tower legs. It just looks like an afterthought.

Was lucky to be with Diggs when he picked this thing up. It's absolutely awesome looking , the flake looks awesome in the sun and the interior colors look great. Gonna be one of the nicest boats around for sure.

That is a nice boat! Please post up some wakeboard wake pics when you get it loaded up.

The new SC boats are so much nicer than in the past, too bad their prices had to go up so much as well.

Thanks guys. I will definitely get some pics up once the rain and cold slows down in Oregon. Could be a bit.
Rance - Other folks around here are running the 350 just fine all loaded up. We are not at altitude and I have demoed the 350 loaded up and it did fine here. Once we get a bit more real world use I will update though. Would love to have the 450, but we are at sea level and the cost was just tough for us to justify. I did get the ACME 1235 prop on it.

If you are finding it's still a bit slow out of the hole, loaded up, you could go to the 2079 or even the 2315. I found going to the 15x12 prop was a huge upgrade on my boat.

I think all the black in the interior will be fine. It rarely gets above 95 in PDX in the summer. I have a new boat on the way and I think I might have more black in the interior than Tyler. Worse case throw down some towels which most people do anyways so not really a worst case

Stunning, looking forward to hearing your review on the swell surf system and seeing your stereo system with window tint. Those trailer wheels look sick, congrats!

Old thread, and new member here hope to hear back...Mr Diggs, I am about to close a deal on the SC350. Now that you've had some time to put it through the paces what is your general feedback? The primary topic I am contemplating right now is whether or not the 350 is sufficient or if I should step up to the 450. Either way I am going to prop up to the 1235 and the additional plug n play flex ballast. Do you wakeboard with full or close to full ballast and occupancy? No altitude concerns here, I live in western new york at about 1400 ft.
Old     (turbonine)      Join Date: Oct 2005       02-13-2015, 1:01 PM Reply
I run with the plug n play(750s in the rear) and about 500# of lead in the rear with the 2315 prop and the 345 has no problem at all surfing. I am at about 1,400ft elevation. It works a bit to get up to 23mph with that weight, but I wouldn't wakeboard with that weight on a regular basis. I would drop about 1,000# for wakeboarding.

Jason, thanks for the response. The set up I will be starting with has the 900 lb permanent hard tanks with an additional 1300 lb of above deck flex bags. Do you avoid wake boarding with full ballast because of a steep lip? What length do you usually ride at? Does the wake plate help mellow the transition to a smoother ramp or just too much displacement to dial it in?

Edit to previous post: turbonine should have checked your profile to see you don't have the same boat. Thanks for the feedback and prop recommendation either way

Kevin, I bought Diggs SC back in November. Haven't got much time behind it because of winter. I don't run full ballast because I am getting old and it doesn't benefit me that much. I inly have one set behind the SC at 22.6 at 75 with about 2500#. Lip was fine and the wake plate still makes a difference.

Hey Jason
Hope she is treating you well.
To answer the questions above, we loaded it down with stock ballast, plug and play and about 500lbs in lead. Usually a boat full of people also. We ride at sea level. For surfing it had plenty of power to get up to 10 mph fine. If we stayed totally loaded for wakeboarding, it was a bit sluggish, but would still plane. We simply moved a few people to the front of the boat and it would take off better. So, the answer is, you don't need the motor upgrade, but as always it would be nice to have too much power. I think they new Raptor motor will give that extra power. Keep in mind, we were always pretty loaded down too.

Diggs, Thanks for the comments. Im looking at a couple of 2014 options so the ford engines are not available. Though you can tell supra is stoked on them and the warranty has been increased from 3 years on the GM motors to 5 on the raptors from indmar. I hear ya that extra power is always a bonus but the deal I am getting on the 350 is hard to turn down but want to make sure that is not because the boat is underpowered. I have about 14hr drive to test it so i would be bummed to go down and decide to come back with nothing. I plan to wakeboard as much as I surf and want to make sure the boat is still up for it when I sink it down. I am a sunrise session guy though and sometimes its hard enough getting the third person spotter up at that point so I plan to run with the full ballast without many passengers most of the time. Regardless I know I will be more than satisfied either way from what I'm stepping up from. Thanks

Yeah Kevin
You will be fine for sure. You will be impressed all around by the SC whether it has the Chevy motor or the Raptor. I have had many boats and this is hands down my favorite so far. I ordered another for 2015.
Good luck

Jason,

So I bought the SC350 . Which 750s do you have in the rear lockers? Are they the flyhigh 50" X 20" X 20"? Is there enough room to fill them up all the way? I haven't picked the boat up yet so I don't have it close by to take measurements.
Old     (tmill)      Join Date: May 2011       03-01-2015, 8:54 PM Reply
use the flyhigh Supra SA rear bags. They are about 750lbs and fit the back compartments the best
Old     (K_Dubbs)      Join Date: Feb 2015       03-01-2015, 9:47 PM Reply
Thanks for the tip Trevor, I did check those out but was hoping I might be able to use the standard rectangular bags since the SC has deeper (not sure how much) lockers compared to the SA. If the limiting dimension is length then the SA bag appears to be best.
